@mypilbaraequestrianlife I always get so many questions about the drone videos riding with the dolphins, I’ll try answer some of the ones I can remember! If you have any others pop them in the comments and I’ll do some more videos without music with the dolphins and answer them 💙. The dolphins are wild ones , I don’t know if they are the same ones every time or if there are different pods that swim through regularly. It’s not a sure thing to see them but If they are there they normally always come in to have a better look at the horses if they have noticed you. Dolphins are inquisitive and I think the horses make enough sound in the water to get their attention, I like to think the dolphins also sense the beautiful nature of a horse and it lets them fell safe enough to want to interact (disclaimer this is my own made up non scientific analogy!) The water isn’t always this perfect and clear at this beach so they can be around and you wouldn’t really notice them unless they come right in close , iv been there on more murky days and they can swim right up but you can’t really see them under water until you notice the fins coming up. Danika loves them and she is never scared of them not even the first time they came in close, she is a really confident horse and her way of working things out is usually by getting closer and trying to touch it! But I also do feel like she knows they are no threat to her because of their peaceful energy. This day the dolphins were swimming right up and in front of her I could almost touch them and she wasn’t bothered at all.
